  @bosquebill it does in fact work but with incredibly stiff beads it might not do the trick. in that case i usually put the bottom of the bead in the center of the rim while i roll the top of the bead on, if that makes sense at all. the center of the rim usually gives you a little more room. seems to work for pretty much everything.
