Five - Amazon, Alphabet, Microsoft, Meta, and Oracle - are hugely profitable companies who have *invested* in AI. One - NVIDIA - makes high-performance computing hardware and software that is used for a variety of consumer and industrial applications that aren&#39;t AI. Only the other six are truly ***AI*** businesses!

When you look under the hood of AIs, they&#39;re just big &#39;ol constrained nonlinear optimizers. I&#39;m convinced there are better ways to do that than massive dot product engines emulating poorly understood biological processes that evolved over billions of years in exactly one place that we know of.

The composer we know today as Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart wasn’t born with that name. He was actually born Bob Mozart.
