When you look under the hood of AIs, they're just big 'ol constrained nonlinear optimizers. I'm convinced there are better ways to do that than massive dot product engines emulating poorly understood biological processes that evolved over billions of years in exactly one place that we know of.

@AlgoCompSynth@mastodon.social OK, but you are saying survival of the fittest is wrong, it wasn't the fittest architecture that survived, and the human mind should be able to come up with something better, or just that our emulation is crappy?
