@wonderofscience@mastodon.social This kinda spoils the best part of Andromeda in the sky. The first photo of Andromeda caused the science team seeing it to call it the Andromeda Nebulae. Because it is huge. Not huge as in a trillion stars, but huge in the actual sky. Other than the moon, no one had seen anything but dots in the sky. Andromeda IS CLOSE. The galaxy pictured, is ten times bigger than the moon is in the sky. If dust did not dim Andromeda, it would appear like this.
