@pearfalse@tech.lgbt @madcoder@infosec.exchange armv8 onward _does_ have a canonical NOP, though (0xd503201f, IIRC). I think thumb2 had one too, but I'm not going to check. Pre-thumb2 and UAL it was definitely an alias for a MOV or something.
