You may have seen the #GenAI companies calling for a slow down of their industry. Of course, their argument is complete bullshit.

@anthony@indieweb.social That may very well be the reason they're saying it now, but the risk definitely exists. We should regulate AI for other reasons too, though (like killing jobs and people and art and truth)
