Apparently, American Catholics are abandoning Trump. Whenever Trump and Vance insult Pope Leo, this scene in Sorrentino’s The Young Pope comes to my mind. In this scene, Jude Law, as Young Pope, blackmails the Italian Prime Minister (played by Stefano Accorsi). It’s quite funny seeing Pope Jude Law threatening to tell Italian Catholics not to vote for Accorsi. Great dialogue. #vance #pope #trump https://youtu.be/BW2DuJmZHSM
