New blog post: how I shrank the Book Corners map payload from 13.85 MB to 7 KB. With 37,238 public bookcases, some map requests returned every single library as a pin. Now every request without a viewport is clustered with PostGIS ST_SnapToGrid, and searches reuse the Django queryset as a subquery, so no filter is written twice.
