Today I was unable to vote because the nearest open polling station in my electorate would be a 280km round trip.
Tomorrow I will be unable to vote because the only voting station nearer than that (12km round trip) will only be open for 4 hours in the middle of the day when I'm working.
And yet this isn't voter suppression?

@pistonblown@mastodon.nz yeah, the number of polling places this election is appallingly low... I too am filing that under voter suppression.
