“It’s legal in the US for 14 year olds to have paid jobs” is not remotely a new phenomenon. I just keep seeing people actively make things up about what the laws were before, and what they will be under these new bills. Which isn’t the same as saying I support the new bills - just that it feels like a big portion of “my team” is lying or else doesn’t know what they’re talking about
