@fedify@hackers.pub Awesome work for the fediverse! The fact that so many servers behave in non-compatible ways seems to suggest the spec has problems, right? Some examples are frustrating to read, I can't imagine building around them without such framework.

@res260@infosec.exchange @fedify@hackers.pub I'd agree. We have a lot more flexibility in #activitypub than is clear in the text, so a lot of developers expect very specific formats for data. ActivityPub 1.1 will be clearer, with more examples, so that developers can deal with the full variety.
