This is the same argument as "the fossil fuel companies are not responsible for the greenhouse gas that customers burn, they're only responsible for the ghg they produce when extracting the fossil fuel. Who knows what they do with this fossil fuel! ", no? Creator of the LLM = fossil fuel company making bombs...

There are so many good reasons to criticize AI but we can't deny that the AI companies actually deliver capabilities improvements and have been since the release of chatgpt in 2022.   The worst thing about the linux ecosystem is nothing is signed if software was signed we could easily have a secure enclave. We could finally start building an ecosystem where malware running in a computer would have a much harder time stealing npm/github/pypi tokens, ssh keys, cleartext passwords in config files like we've seen a lot lately.
