@TG_Esq I can do VHS transfers, actually, and have done a few. I'm going to get a blank reel of tape and test out this old reel machine and if it works then I can transfer the handful of old reels left behind by my dad.

@Undercat@mastodon.sdf.org On Saturday I went to a business that does data transfers (for a family slide conversion job). The reception area was full of old still and film cameras, an old TV, film projectors, etc. And this reel to reel high up on a shelf. I don't know enough about them to know exactly where the tape should be going, but the way it was set up for display made my eyes water.
