"In a document released Monday, Pope Francis addressed surrogacy, saying it “violates” both the dignity of the child and the woman, who “becomes a mere means subservient to the arbitrary gain or desire of others.”" So does forcing a pregnant person to carry to term an unwanted child or to continue a non-viable pregnancy also violate the dignity of the woman and fetus? Doesn't forcing someone to give birth make the subservient to the desires of others?
