So I've decided to finally go back to DWM - it's practically the only Window Manager that I've really gotten along with as I've probably already mentioned before, but I've got a few troubles to try and sort out with it Namely, I've got an issue with slstatus - the status bar for DWM. The screen size that I've got on the T60 seems to have a problem with having more than a couple modules on the top bar - so I've added the dualstatus patch to it. However, now it's a trouble of trying to figure out if I can even use slstatus with the bottom bar, because of course by default it adds to the top bar, I don't know if there's a specific sort of edit that you can do for slstatus that can also draw modules to the bottom bar? I've seen that you can xsetroot to add to it - as it says on the original patch for dualstatus - but then I'll be making an xsetroot script for all of my modules, which is entirely doable but makes slstatus pretty redundant in my configs. Though I might just have to accept that really. Going to be quite a bit of extra work to try and figure out how to do all the modules though. I don't know if there's a sort of way around this with two slstatus? and then setting both of them with an xsetroot script? Like, make one to draw to the bottom bar and another to draw to the top bar and add modules to each one? I don't know, if I look through the code enough I might be able to figure out an easier solution to it. If anyone has any ideas on this feel free to add them.
