  1 cup vinegar 1c. water 2 tbsp sugar 1 tbsp salt 2 tsp garlic (I used crushed garlic from a jar once, and then powder another time) ~1 lb jalapenos boil -> turn off heat -> jalaps in 15min -> jar 'em up that's what my notes say at least, I may have even cut sugar in half again the 2nd batch
