I just wanna add something that even the call for the government to regulate them is another attempt at getting money - taxpayer money in this case, and also choking out the competition. I also wanna state that AI capability of remediating misuse, abuse, and preventing attacks is so bad, that I've seen not one, not two, but at least three different job listings for the different AI companies offering obscene amounts of money to deal with those subjects at some of the big names. On top of that, there have been at least two different places now that tried to recruit me for some kind of a job answering cybersecurity related questions for the AI in order to train their models for them. and of course, they're offering peanuts for the onerous task of digitizing the knowledge I've spent over a decade acquiring.
