@Em0nM4stodon@infosec.exchange I guess I will still mention OVH and their ~4EUR/m VPS, even though they are kinda big ; very good presence in Europe and elsewhere, quite a few distributions to choose from - if I recall, you can even use Arch (by the way).

@Em0nM4stodon@infosec.exchange Hetzner is really very professional and good. For a few static websites you won't need that big a box, so this should still be somewhat reasonable around the 10 EUR... Yes, they raised prices recently, but I don't know whether the others also had to do that?

@Em0nM4stodon@infosec.exchange I've been using https://vedos.cz/ for about ten years now. Very affordable Apache servers for webhosting as well as VPSs. They specialize in hosting of small websites, so pivoting to "AI" is not likely. They are originally a Czech company, but have recently expanded to providing seevices globally (hosting is currently in Switzerland, AFAIK). They also put together a team of security specialists several years ago and have been working on improving security since.

Throwing UpCloud to the pile. Finnish hosting service with server options around Europe and elsewhere, I use their Helsinki offering. No "we need your passport to even show options" like Hetzner did to me this year.
