No longer affordable: Nebraskans say rent costs are a major stressor
Rental prices for a one bedroom have gone up 40% nationally since 2021, per LendingTree. Zillow reports Nebraska rents are 33% below the national average.
The US Census Bureau reports rent in Nebraska has increased nearly 29% since 2019. The median price was $859 a month in 2019 and is now $1,102 a month.
