A friend just talked to a guy living in a garage at an apartment complex in south Lincoln and saw how he had it arranged.
In Ashland, Nebraska, a small, but well off community of 3,200 people, some people are living in storage units.

We went by the garage a friend is renting. He pointed out the garage where a guy lives. There was a mini Subaru truck parked at the open garage door. It was hot outside at 88°F yet the garage door was open, presumably for daylight. Hopefully he has a heater for winter. I didn’t look into the garage to get a good look at his setup. It seemed too rude to peer in out of curiosity. It just hurts me to know that a man is living out of a garage because that’s the best he can manage. #housing
