I was recently in a very posh and expensive suburb and noticed a house on the corner was run down, unmaintained, wild grass growing everywhere. Strange it would be abandoned in such a high decile and pricey place.
Turned the corner, oh, lots of National election billboards on the fence.
Edit: looked it up on homes. Bought 2021 for $2,800,000 and current valuation is $2,975,000

@futuresprog@mastodon.nzoss.nz @pistonblown@mastodon.nz I was walking my dog the other day and passed a very average house with a couple of National billboards on the fence. Someone was working in the garden as I passed so I said hi and then pointed to the billboards with a shrug. The woman looked embarrassed and said I know, my landlord insisted on putting them up. I am now wondering if that is even legal. #NZPol
