@sisterratched@social.vivaldi.net @caity@bne.social @skyfire747@aus.social I had FTTH in Canberra, but here on the coast I now have a 4G modem router with an Aldi SIM and I don't notice any difference. Maybe if I used streaming subscriptions instead of piracy, or if I needed it for WFH, video conferencing, low latency online gaming etc., it would be different. Also I am a neo-Luddite, so maybe my perspective is skewed.
