@homegrown@social.growyourown.services I think ZimaOS would fit here: it's designed for a home NAS server rather than to be deployed on a VPS; It is fully graphical, managed through a hosted website, and can easily run things like immich, jellyfin or nextcloud out of the box, all set up through a web interface. I did hear from few of my less-technical friends that it was the least painless option they found recently, and I used it for a while as well before moving back to a plain Debian install which was better for my needs, as I didn't like a few of their forced-on-you decisions, and I think their core OS uses a bit too many resources that could be used by other apps. (It is also the successor of CasaOS which was an add-on to an existing linux, this is a full OS you need to install from the ground up) https://www.zimaspace.com/zimaos

@homegrown@social.growyourown.services Shoutout to @yunohost@toot.aquilenet.fr here; it was my first entry-point into self-hosting and allowed me to get started even before I had developed the skill set to go it alone!

@homegrown@social.growyourown.services maybe MOS? I did not try it myself but found out that it exists: https://mos-official.net Also maybe OpenMediaVault: https://www.openmediavault.org I've used one version of it some years ago, but when a new major version appeared, you had to do a complete reinstall (no official upgrade path...), so I switched to a pure Devuan setup...
