  If the UK expects young people to swap social media for youth clubs, then they need to make youth services statutory so that local authorities HAVE to fund them. Right now there is no legal requirement to fund youth services run by the local authority.

  Given it has taken about two weeks to get a ship ready (HMS Dragon) ready for deployment, then it will take at least a week (or two) to get to Cyprus, if we want to send a ship to the straight of Hormuz, that would probably take even longer, The UK may as well not bother. The whole NAVY should be on standby for immediate deployment, so loaded up with everything needed (inc fuel) so it can just go.   BBC news now reporting 1000 casualties. Needless loss of life, however is there a breakdown for civilian casualties, goverment casualties, security / army / police casualties. We should count family members of regieme members as civilians however. Time for some deeper breakdowns so we can see who is being impacted. #Iran #War #Casualties #Civilians
