@azonenberg@ioc.exchange it wasn't quite two days but i did find out rather late that OpenOffice can't render video using hw acceleration and so turns them into a desynced slideshow on my laptop.

@dotstdy@mastodon.social Huh the video clips in my slide deck play fine. Maybe I just have a beefy enough CPU? They're full HD but no sound and 5-10 sec and seem to play at full speed with no issues.
