A dramma per musica in the style of Monteverdi, Nitetis presents a Latin-language retelling of an ancient Egyptian tale (YouTube link): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5b7577vwKA This piece makes the maximum use of a paucity of forces, possibly better befitting a date circa 1610. But the style is definitely Monteverdian. Full credit to @iustinus to tipping me off to this piece. #Music #EarlyMusic #NewMusic #YouTube
