@BrentD@techhub.social You assume Visa's beta solves adoption, but isn't this just another walled garden that still relies on bank rails to settle? Real institutional flow happens when you don't need their permission to move value.

@hannaB@social.vir.group I view this as VISA testing the willingness of smaller TradFi organizations, who have existing Bank rails, to dip their toe into the DeFi world with our having to build and operate the stablecoin/blockchain infrastructure. They will use VISA's platform (trusted provider) for conducting their own "beta testing" for crypto powered transactions. To answer your question, yes these tests will likely leverage existing bank rails for settlement given they already exist and are proven. I see this potentially more as a play against Ethereum, Solana etc. by VISA.
