@therightarticle@mas.to It is becoming very difficult to find some country to point to, and say with confidence that they are a well functioning democracy. The country I call home, the Netherlands is often regarded as a shining liberal democracy, but in reality it is failing hard. And looking at neighbours I am not feeling it, either. Desperate neoliberal cults and populist vampires swooping around them. Many fading liberal parties hope that wars and populist mimetism will save them.
