Everytime i still feel the oil on the container, i’ll just wash my sponge and squeeze some a fresh new dish soap and wash with it. Usually clean afterward, it’s almost always the grease-soaked sponge.

its the same taking a bath. after the first swipe, youre wiping with that filth in a steadily increasing amount. the dirt never goes completely away in a tub
