@asymco The Australian Gov is rolling out its Solar Sharing scheme. An unexpected abundance of electricity produced by Solar rooftop panels in Queensland, NSW and South Australia has resulted in negative electricity prices for 3 hrs in the middle of the day. As of today, any household in those states can sign up to an electricity plan that gives them 24Kwh over 3 hours in the middle of the day, for free.
