@ska@social.treehouse.systems @aelspire@aelspire.info @ariadne@social.treehouse.systems not entirely, they keep OpenRC around as an option and plenty of people (like me) use it. you can't use the big slop desktops (KDE, GNOME) with OpenRC, but something like the now anti-AI labwc https://github.com/labwc/labwc/pull/3729/changes or the anti AI river works fine!
however, I do share your systemd dislike and would never install it

@ell1e@hachyderm.io @aelspire@aelspire.info @ariadne@social.treehouse.systems Yes, they keep OpenRC around and it's a good thing, but my point here is they do package projects that use LLMs and have no intention of banning them. In fact, you could probably say that of any distro that packages the Linux kernel, but there could be distros that pin the kernel to a pre-slop version and maintain that. Is there such a thing?
