I’ve been chuckling at the snark regarding the Fediverse “echo-chamber” and yeah, the absence of an algorithmic feed, the malignant interests of some tech bro makes it MUCH better here. That said, pretending the culture here isn’t skewed, that certian points of view aren’t vastly over represented is delusional. That those points of view are underrepresented and often abused in the world at large *may* be a good thing about here but it comes with risks too. Polarization and ignorance are bad.
