Up until last year’s September I was prompting in a web only to accelerate my coding effort, copy and paste to ide, I have automatized my workflows to get maximum known efficiency using such method and I was.. happy and faster and all things positive. Still with maximum capacity to drive one project forward and more or less old fashioned dev+architect deep dive attention to it. All things changed when I encouraged myself to get into codex and start prompting in terminal, directly on my source code. That change occurred kind of end of October. Since then I have eliminated Service Now and substantially a need for Salesforce at work. We continue with BI.vNext to eliminate PowerBI and MS Flows out of our M365 infrastructure and eventually to become less dependant on Microsoft anyway. All thanks to vibecoding. Privately I have demoscene and retro gaming engine completely revised with authoring tools that mix complexity and capabilities of Maxon and Lightwave, my own audio (synth) engine and tracker, 8bit games and demos engines, my own telnet and ssh client for BBSes and ansi art viewer in macos terminal. And pipeline is just growing. And all is well maintained, documented and on private repos in my NAS, cloud less needed… SaaS less needed.. things and trends change so quickly that one doesn’t know how to comment, often
