@bit101 I have not gone full plunge, but yes I use it for tasks similar to these and it is useful and if you stop and read the explanations (if asking for them specifically) they can be quite enlightening. What I am getting frustrated at is bug reports that come in with attachments of what Claude thinks is wrong after analyzing the issue. Often it is way off-base because it can't know of all peculiarities and history and I can immediately (eventually) find the cause...

@bit101 Interesting. My whole career was learning all kinds of stuff looking through the code to find the thing. Again, I think I am not necessarily typical but it worked for me!

@bit101 AI is like a calculator was back in the day - it does not make someone good at abstract maths but it helps with the simple stuff that many of us are bad at. AI is just a tool but if like me you are rubbish at writing your ideas cleanly with grammar then it can fix. You still need the ideas!
