Dearest Annabelle, Out on our drive this afternoon, I managed to "pinch" the tip of my right middle finger while I was trying to gently close the car door. Hurt like a motherfuck. Was fine after 15 minutes. There were about a two dozen tiny, broken blood vessels that showed up immediately on the tip. But otherwise no bruising or apparent damage to the nail. Six hours later I've got this weird, incorrect dull pain if I move my middle finger in a specifc but, generally, normal manner. I am a delicate, fragile blossom. I am not certain that shall make it through the night. With loving regards, Your husband
