@joeress I needed to understand a specific behavior of a feature. Product team wasn’t getting back to me. Pointed the llm at the large code base to tell me where this functionality was. I then read the code to understand. Asked it to summarize the behavior. Compared its result to my own understanding. In retrospect later confirmed with the engineers. Results bang on. Took me 15 min to assess vs hour plus of trying to understand the code base enough to assess. I just use it as an accelerator to get to 80%. Then I have to finish with my own capabilities. Just depends on how you use it. It doesn’t replace what I need to do, just helps. 🤷‍♂️
