The ESP32Home sensor in my shed broke sometime over the winter. Probably power related as the light bulb also went (LED). I replaced the bulb and plugged the ESP32 directly into HA, but it wouldn't recognize it. I moved the sensors to a new ESP32 (same board, bought in a pack) and installed the code (same code). It connects to WiFi and shows sensor data in the logs, but the ESP32 sub page still says "Offline" and the HA Dashboard says "Unavailable". Can you not just swap/recode ESP32 boards like that? Should I have done something different? #homeassistant #esp32home

D'oh! Dumbass move. It was DNS (Well DHCP) New board got a new IP address. Whoops. All fixed!

@niqdanger@social.linux.pizza No, it will be discovered as new device. You can try to "Reconfigure" the old device from its menu in the Devices & Integrations page and enter its new IP address. (Sorry if those are not the exact wordings, I'm using a translation)
