One of the most amazing things in #urbanism is trying to explain to people that Euclidean zoning is not big-brained intelligent mathematical and geometric because it's not named after Euclid, the legendary Classical Greek mathematician https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euclid - it's named after Euclid, Ohio - a tiny city with a population density under 5k/mi² and no other claim to fame.
