Maybe I should have puréed it, I don't know. This is the first time in ages that I cooked something from scratch. I'm just so disappointed. In other cooking related news, I asked a friend if she would teach me how to cook a chicken curry. We're doing that next weekend. I will be taking lots of notes, maybe take pics of the spices of hers that she said we can use. Wish me luck...

@Giselle I suspect that you were disappointed in the flavour because you made it in the slow cooker. In my experience, that cooking method doesn't generally allow you to enjoy all of the herbs and spices that you add. Those flavours seem to disappear over the hours. In the # #InstantPot, on the other hand, most flavours intensify. Enjoy the chicken curry and the process of learning how to make it. Be patient with your cooking, and take notes on your process, what you like, and don't.

@Giselle I’m not a bad cook, but when I make a tomato sauce myself I’m always trying to limit for fat and salt, for obvious reasons, which isn’t so great for taste!
