Got a package of imported Idly mix and the English instructions refer to curd (Dahi) but the french instructions refer to "fromage blanc". One of these is not like the other!.

@rexbron Oooh. So dahi curd is what we would refer to as yogourt. But fromage blanc is cottage cheese, which is what we would also refer to as curd in anglo Canada? In Switzerland they have séré, which i think is a type of fromage frais? One of my favourite foods there, which I've never found the equivalent of in Canada. It gets translated as quark. But quark in Canada is grainy, while séré is very smooth and rich. It probably also would work in that recipe. https://www.migros.ch/fr/product/200801200000
