It’d been so long since I’d seen The Killer, I forgot how many tropes originated from this single film!
Was a treat to see it in the theater tonight, and the short chat with John Woo screened afterwards was a nice bonus.

@driph@mastodon.social Yes! I rewatched The Killer (and A Better Tomorrow) late last year and felt so much nostalgia seeing just how many Woo hallmarks and broader- influence tropes that began here. Jealous you got to see it in a cinema, and John Woo chat is a double-bonus. 😎 #film
