I'm worried that we all don't understand that we're going to have to fight for all the rights we're losing. For all the rights that marginalized groups have fought so hard to gain. It isn't going to magically unravel if dems get voted in. We're going to have to fight just to make sure the elections are fair, and chances are that they won't be for people in Texas and other red states. The elections haven't been fair in quite some time, and the mainstream white attitude has been SERVES THOSE LOSERS IN RED STATES RIGHT! The whole marginalized ppl/white ppl divide is going to have to go away. If not, the techbros will cook us all to broth with their ai, and the fascists will desecrate every beautiful thing we love. The whole rant of those red states got us into this mess needs to die. We got us into this mess by not facing all our fucking problems. I'm really worried that a lot of us are just waiting for saviors to sweep in and save us during the midterms and then the luxuries will flow. No. We unleashed hate, a very human monster, and we are going to have to banish it and fix our mess. So how are you doing things differently? Because that's the only thing that will help. Are you learning about USian atrocities you were able to distance yourself from? Are you mourning all the loss? Are you feeling sick, to go about normal life while people around the world are suffering because of our willful ignorance?
