@Da_Gut Sorry, the maximum number of legs a friend can have is 4, and the maximum for an acquaintance is 8 with no visible stingers. This fellow is over the limit and into the squash-it-before-my-wife-sees-it-and-burns-the-house-down zone.

@Da_Gut Plus also: They are deceivingly juicy. Maybe from eating all the spiders. You don't wanna squish these. Even accidentally under your bare foot.

@mahadevank @Da_Gut They can inject venom with their forcipules (the claw-like modified appendages by their mouth) but for things that aren't prey, like us, they would much rather run away. And they are extremely good at running away. I think you would have to be really trying to get bit by one.

@Da_Gut I gained a much greater appreciation for them after keeping a few as pets. They are really very catlike.

@nixanadoo yeah this one was stuck in a sink. I had to help it out of there three times yesterday so I eventually moved it to a different area.

@Da_Gut fav prey includes cockroaches, silverfish, firebrats, carpet beetle larvae, spiders, termites, and bed bugs. They have strong venom but have difficulty piercing human skin. They are the superheroes of household bugs.
