Poor AT&T sales person just came and knocked on my door to tell me how Sonic is short changing me on my 10Gbps internet service and how I could be sharing my bandwidth with up to 100 other customers. Me: "Of course they are. They only guarantee 8Gbps and I saw that during the install, but I've only got a 5Gbps router plugged into it so I'm never going to see either of those speeds anyways" Sales person: "But what about having to share with 100 other people?" Me: "I mean, that is, in fact, how XGPON works, but I'm really not concerned about that."
