Calling it -- my old Fitbit can't hold a charge even while it's on the charger. Can you replace the batteries in these things? (Willing to do finnicky work and even soldering, if it's doable with great big human hands.) Otherwise, I guess it's gonna be parts. EDIT: have enough information to attempt a battery replacement now!
