#CrossStitch question: I’ve heard I can make guidelines with fishing line. But there’s like 5000 different types of fishing line and I don’t have a local store where I can go ask. What terms am I looking for?

@ejk@mathstodon.xyz You’d want something very light, something that you can snap with your hands, else you’d risk damaging the cloth if a line gets pulled. Personally, I just use plain sewing machine cotton, it’s cheap and plentiful and it comes out easy after your project is finished.
