@ejk@mathstodon.xyz You’d want something very light, something that you can snap with your hands, else you’d risk damaging the cloth if a line gets pulled. Personally, I just use plain sewing machine cotton, it’s cheap and plentiful and it comes out easy after your project is finished.

@futzle@old.mermaid.town I know I need something thin, but that’s not ever a description on fishing line, so I’d like to know what sort of terms I am looking for? Is it 6, 10, or 20-lb? Is it monofilament? I don’t fish, so I have no clue what those things mean
