My views on WordPress summarised:
- Gutenberg had good aims but is terrible to use
- Making a new theme is now a ludicrous slog
- Should’ve fixed file structure & DB long ago (full URLs & file paths should only be in config!)
- Popular plugins should’ve been replaced with built-in features

EmDash isn’t going to kill/replace WP, it’ll have its own issues & many will be wary of CloudFlare lockin, but it’ll shake things up a bit and probably affect WP’s roadmap
