I may have a situation this fall where it makes sense to work remotely from somewhere in Europe for a week or so between other obligations. If you were to pick a spot to work from, what would you choose and why?
Things to factor in:
- I will need some overlap with East Coast US working hours
- I get very bored spending extended periods of time by myself

Currently atop my list are: - London: seems like an interesting city to live in but not necessarily be touristy; lots of evening theater opportunities I imagine, but probably pricey - Barcelona: Never been but want to - Amsterdam: Easy to access flights, interesting infrastructure
