I'm seeing several posts on the Zuckersite criticising the UK government for not reducing the VAT on fuel despite the hike in prices. In Spain the government has reduced the VAT on fuel. You know what has happened? Gas stations have not changed their prices, and instead of having lower fuel prices they've gotten higer profit margins. So yeah, maybe we need to find a different solution (cof cof nationalise the gas infrastructure cof cof)
